The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a school-level committee comprised of parents, staff, and community members designated to advise school officials on English learner programs and services. 

The ELAC shall be responsible for the following tasks:

· Advising the principal and staff in the development of a site plan for English learners and submitting the plan to the School Site Council for consideration of inclusion in the School Plan for Student Achievement.

· Assisting in the development of the schoolwide needs assessment.

· Ways to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance.

The ELAC will meet on the following dates:

9/26/24 Barry School – Wellness Center 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

10/24/24 Barry School – Wellness Center 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

12/12/24 Barry School – Wellness Center 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

1/23/25 Barry School – Wellness Center 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

2/27/25 Barry School – Wellness Center 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

3/27/25 Barry School – Wellness Center 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

5/22/25 Barry School – Wellness Center 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
